  • XPENG reported August 2026 deliveries of 39,107 vehicles, up 4% year over year.
  • The company launched pre-sales for its G9L model in mainland China and advanced Robotaxi testing.
  • XPENG estimated its January–August 2026 EV deliveries reduced life-cycle emissions by over 3.72 million tons.

XPENG (NYSE:XPEV) reported August 2026 vehicle deliveries of 39,107 units, representing a 4% increase compared with the same period last year.

The company’s August performance followed the debut and pre-sales launch of its G9L model in mainland China on August 11, 2026, as XPENG continued expanding its electric vehicle lineup.

XPENG said its Robotaxi program advanced after receiving a Guangzhou permit for remote testing of intelligent connected vehicles, allowing road trials without an onboard safety operator on designated Level 1–3 test roads.

The company estimated that EVs delivered from January through August 2026 could reduce life-cycle greenhouse gas emissions by more than 3.72 million tons.

XPENG develops electric vehicles and smart mobility technologies, including advanced driver-assistance systems and connected vehicle platforms.

The company said its estimated emissions reduction from 2026 deliveries is equivalent to the carbon absorbed by approximately 61.6 million young trees over a 10-year period, as it continues developing EV and autonomous driving technologies.
