VinFast starts U.S. sales of VF 8 SUV

VinFast Auto (NASDAQ:VFS) began U.S. sales of the 2027 model year VF 8 electric SUV, featuring updated technology, safety systems and driver-assistance features.

The MY27 VF 8 is available from September 2026 through authorized dealers in U.S. markets including Chicago, Orlando and San Diego, with ECO and PLUS trims priced from $40,400 and $45,600, respectively.

The updated Advanced Driver Assistance Systems package includes features such as Automatic Emergency Stop Assist, Rear Automatic Emergency Braking, Intersection Assist, Auto Lane Changing Assist and Evasive Steering Assist.

VinFast develops electric vehicles and is expanding its sales presence in international markets, including the United States, through its electric SUV lineup.

The company is also offering purchase incentives, including 0% APR financing for up to 84 months and leasing options, while introducing an Energy Cost Savings Calculator to help customers compare operating costs with gasoline vehicles.
