VinFast delivers 20,161 EVs in Vietnam in August 2026

VinFast (NASDAQ:VFS) reported preliminary domestic Vietnam deliveries of 20,161 electric vehicles in August 2026, representing a 12% increase from the previous month.

The company maintained monthly deliveries above 20,000 vehicles despite the period coinciding with Vietnam’s Ghost Month, which is traditionally associated with lower consumer demand.

The VF 3 was the company’s best-selling model in August with 6,453 vehicles delivered, followed by the VF 5 and Herio Green with combined deliveries of 4,265 vehicles.

For the first eight months of 2026, VinFast delivered 154,073 electric vehicles in Vietnam, with the VF 3 and Limo Green recording cumulative deliveries of 35,798 and 34,991 vehicles respectively.

The company also reported cumulative January-to-August deliveries of 27,948 VF 5 and Herio Green vehicles, 15,943 VF 6 vehicles, and 7,820 VF 7 vehicles.
