Surf Air signs OperatorOS deal with SkyDance
- Surf Air Mobility (NYSE:SRFM) signed a commercial agreement with SkyDance Air for its OperatorOS flight operations software.
- The agreement marks Surf Air Mobility’s second commercial OperatorOS contract and supports its goal of having five operators using the platform by the end of 2026.
- Surf Air Mobility stated that OperatorOS helps Part 135 operators manage scheduling, crew operations, reporting, and flight activities through a single platform.
Surf Air Mobility (NYSE:SRFM) signed a definitive agreement with SkyDance Air for OperatorOS, its SurfOS flight operations software platform powered by Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ:PLTR).
The agreement is Surf Air Mobility’s second commercial OperatorOS contract and supports the company’s goal of having five operators live on the platform by the end of 2026.
“OperatorOS is an ideal solution for an operator like SkyDance, a high-volume Part 135 business that needs better tools to manage scheduling and crew operations as they grow,” said Surf Air Mobility Co-founder Liam Fayed.
OperatorOS will help SkyDance manage aircraft and crew scheduling, generate operational insights, and reduce manual processes through an AI-enabled software system, with Surf Air Mobility earning a percentage of revenue from SkyDance flights managed through the platform.
SkyDance currently operates three Cirrus Vision Jets and plans to expand its fleet to approximately 10 aircraft in 2027, according to the company.
Surf Air Mobility said OperatorOS is part of its broader SurfOS platform, which includes BrokerOS and OwnerOS products designed to connect aviation operators, brokers, and aircraft owners.
