Surf Air Mobility signs OperatorOS deal
- Surf Air Mobility (NYSE:SRFM) signed its first commercial OperatorOS agreement with Sprintbach Aviation.
- The agreement allows Surf Air Mobility to earn a percentage of revenue from Sprintbach flights managed through OperatorOS.
- The AI-enabled flight operations platform is designed to help Part 135 operators manage scheduling, reporting and aircraft operations.
Surf Air Mobility (NYSE:SRFM) announced a definitive agreement with Sprintbach Aviation for OperatorOS, its SurfOS flight operations software platform for Part 135 operators powered by Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ:PLTR).
The agreement represents Surf Air Mobility’s first commercial OperatorOS contract and supports the company’s stated goal of having five operators live on the platform by the end of 2026.
OperatorOS is designed to manage aircraft and crew scheduling, flight operations, reporting and distribution, while Sprintbach Aviation will use the platform to streamline operations across its fleet of nine aircraft and 16 pilots.
Surf Air Mobility develops aviation technology platforms through SurfOS, which includes BrokerOS, OperatorOS and OwnerOS products designed to connect brokers, operators and aircraft owners.
The company said OperatorOS has been used internally by Surf Air Mobility’s airline operations, Southern Airways and Mokulele Airlines since 2025, and was recently approved by the Federal Aviation Administration as an authorized system of record for electronic signatures and recordkeeping.
