RTX invests $25 million in Poland plant

RTX (NYSE:RTX) announced that its Pratt & Whitney business will invest $25 million to expand its engine parts manufacturing facility in Niepołomice, Poland.

The project, valued at approximately PLN 95 million, will expand production of complex tubular assemblies used in commercial and military engine programs, including GTF, PW800, and F135 engines.

RTX stated that the expanded facility is expected to become operational in 2028 and create more than 120 new jobs as the company increases manufacturing capacity.

The investment is supported by the Polish Investment Zone Programme and follows a recently announced $100 million expansion in Rzeszow, Poland.

RTX stated that Poland remains its largest investment and employment base outside the United States, with more than 9,500 employees across the country.

RTX operates aerospace and defense businesses, including Pratt & Whitney, which develops and manufactures aircraft engines and related systems for commercial and military customers.
