Redwire wins Axiom contract for two solar arrays

Redwire Corporation (NYSE:RDW) executed an agreement to develop two solar array wings for the second Axiom Space module.

The transaction expands existing operations, as the company is already building solar arrays for the first module.

"We are excited and grateful for the opportunity to provide Axiom Space with additional ROSAs," said Redwire Space President Mike Gold.

Axiom Space stated that it plans to launch the first module in 2028 and the second module a year later.

The company reported it currently has more than 65 solar array wings delivered or in development for various space missions.

Redwire Corporation stated that its products are expected to power upcoming orbital data centers and lunar exploration plans.
