Redwire selected for $980M Space Force contract vehicle

Redwire Corporation (NYSE:RDW) announced that it has been selected by Space Systems Command as one of 15 vendors awarded a multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for the National Space Test and Training Complex Innovative Technology and Engineering – Space Test and Range (NITE-STAR) Capability Development program.
The contract vehicle has a total potential value of more than $980 million and is designed to support the expansion of U.S. national security space test infrastructure and operational readiness.
Through the award, Redwire expects to provide capabilities supporting the design, development, integration, testing, and sustainment of advanced space-based and ground-based systems.
Mike Gold, President of Redwire Space, said the company’s selection reinforces its role in providing spacecraft systems and digital engineering solutions for next-generation space operations.
The company noted that NITE-STAR is a multiple-award contract vehicle and that the award itself does not guarantee any revenue.
The contract strengthens Redwire’s national security space portfolio and aligns with its strategy of delivering spacecraft technologies, engineering tools, and infrastructure solutions for evolving U.S. Space Force requirements.
