- Oculis expects topline trial results around year-end 2026, with two-thirds of enrolled patients carrying the targeted TNFR1 genetic variant.
Oculis (NASDAQ:OCS) completed randomization of 176 patients in its PREDICT-1 registrational trial of Licaminlimab, advancing its development program for dry eye disease.
The milestone follows Phase 2 findings showing significantly reduced ocular discomfort by Day 29, with improvements observed as early as Day 14.
“PREDICT-1 is an important operational milestone as we track toward topline results around year-end 2026,” said Oculis Chief Executive Officer Riad Sherif.
The double-masked trial includes approximately 117 patients carrying the targeted TNFR1 variant and measures Day 29 discomfort changes against vehicle treatment, with safety also assessed.
Oculis expects topline results around year-end 2026.
Oculis began randomizing patients in June 2026, using a genotype-guided approach to identify individuals potentially more responsive to Licaminlimab treatment.
The company's broader development pipeline includes Privosegtor for optic nerve disorders, alongside Licaminlimab, which remains investigational and has no regulatory approval for commercial use.
