LEIFRAS revenue rises 8.9% to JPY5.98 billion

LEIFRAS (NASDAQ:LFS) reported unaudited first-half fiscal 2026 revenue of JPY5,978.8 million for the six months ended June 30, up 8.9% from a year earlier.

Operating income increased 35.9% to JPY92.3 million, while net income rose 43.5% to JPY77.1 million and basic and diluted earnings per share increased to JPY2.95 from JPY2.16.

Sports school revenue grew 5.4% despite a 0.9% decline in membership, while revenue from the company's social business increased 18%.

Operating cash flow declined to JPY252.7 million from JPY312.8 million a year earlier, while cash and cash equivalents increased to JPY2,591.8 million from JPY2,524.1 million at December 31, 2025.

LEIFRAS said it expects full-year revenue of $82.9 million–$95.7 million and operating income of $4.5 million–$5.4 million, including contributions from three acquired businesses from their respective consolidation dates.

The company's first-half growth was supported by higher revenue from both its sports school and social business operations, although operating cash flow declined year over year.

LEIFRAS said its full-year outlook incorporates the acquired businesses, while the first-half financial results remain unaudited.
