Klarna (NYSE:KLAR) announced a long-term commercial partnership with Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV) to bring flexible, transparent digital payment choices to domestic travelers.

The integration will deploy directly across Southwest's primary checkout channels later this year, including its central website and mobile app platforms.

"Millions of travelers will now have access to Klarna's flexible payment options at checkout, providing a smart booking experience," said Klarna Chief Commercial Officer David Sykes.

The payment platform leverages a vast domestic travel footprint, tapping into an airline that carried over 134 million consumers in 2025.

The global digital bank manages a broad international consumer network spanning roughly 119 million active consumers across 26 countries.

The corporate alliance enables consumers to access interest-free installment matching plans or customized long-term travel financing options over time.
