JinkoSolar (NYSE:JKS) announced that its 54.32%-owned subsidiary Jiangxi Jinko estimates a shareholder-attributable net loss of RMB2.97633 billion–RMB3.57633 billion for the first nine months of 2026.

The preliminary figures cover the period ended September 30 and follow Jiangxi Jinko's previously reported full-year 2025 net loss of approximately RMB6.79 billion.

Excluding extraordinary gains and losses, Jiangxi Jinko estimates its nine-month shareholder-attributable net loss at RMB3.81112 billion–RMB4.41112 billion, indicating a larger loss from its underlying reported activities.

JinkoSolar said the estimates remain unaudited and apply only to Jiangxi Jinko, with the subsidiary's financial statements prepared under Chinese accounting standards rather than U.S. standards.

The figures do not represent JinkoSolar's consolidated financial results, which also include the parent and other subsidiaries.

Jiangxi Jinko is JinkoSolar's principal operating subsidiary in China, manufacturing photovoltaic products for the solar energy industry, while the parent retains a controlling ownership interest.

In its second-quarter 2026 report, JinkoSolar recorded revenue of RMB12.36 billion, down 31.3% year over year, and a gross profit margin of 4.2%, compared with 8.3% in the preceding quarter.
