The Home Depot (NYSE:HD) reported fiscal Q2 2026 sales of $47.9 billion, up 5.7% year over year, as comparable sales increased 1.7%.
Adjusted diluted EPS rose to $4.92 from $4.68 a year earlier, exceeding the $4.73 analyst consensus ahead of the report.
U.S. comparable sales increased 1.3%, while net earnings reached $4.8 billion and diluted EPS climbed to $4.79 from $4.58.
GAAP operating income increased to $6.8 billion with a 14.3% margin, while adjusted operating margin reached 14.7%.
Following the announcement, Home Depot's share price was up 1.86% at $344.75 in premarket trading.
For the first six months, Home Depot generated $89.6 billion in sales and $8.1 billion in net earnings, while operating cash flow increased to $11.4 billion.
Meanwhile, Home Depot reaffirmed guidance for fiscal 2026 sales growth of approximately 2.5%–4.5%, comparable sales growth of roughly flat to 2% and diluted EPS growth of approximately flat to 4%, consistent with the outlook issued earlier this year.
