Helix Energy Solutions Group (NYSE:HLX) and Hornbeck Offshore Services completed their previously announced all-stock combination, creating an integrated offshore services company operating under the Hornbeck Offshore Services name.

The combined company will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker HOS on September 2, 2026, while Helix common stock will stop trading under HLX after market close on September 1, 2026.

Todd M. Hornbeck was appointed President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director, while William L. Transier became Chairman, with the company establishing leadership teams across finance, subsea services, marine transportation, legal, accounting, human resources, commercial, defense, and compliance functions.

The merged company will provide offshore services across deepwater energy, defense, and renewable markets.

Hornbeck Offshore Services operates offshore marine service businesses supporting energy and other industrial markets through vessel-based services.

The combination brings together Helix’s subsea capabilities and Hornbeck’s offshore marine transportation operations to create an expanded offshore services platform.
