Gogo (NASDAQ:GOGO) signed a communications lease renewal worth more than $15 million with an overseas government customer for satellite connectivity on aircraft carrying government leaders.

The agreement uses geostationary satellite capacity, which keeps satellites positioned over the same area of Earth and supports continuous coverage for long-range aviation communications.

Gogo said the service provides connectivity in markets including Russia, China and India, where some low Earth orbit satellite services face restrictions.

The company also provides around-the-clock multilingual customer support and said it can dispatch a specialized technician to an aircraft location within 24 hours when required.

Gogo said the renewed agreement extends its relationship with the government customer and supports continued use of its satellite communications services.

The company serves aviation customers with connectivity systems designed for business, government and other aircraft requiring in-flight communications.

The latest renewal adds more than $15 million in contracted communications revenue and continues Gogo’s work supporting government aviation connectivity outside the United States.
