  • Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE:LLY) reported exploratory Phase 3b data showing broader biomarker changes with Taltz plus Zepbound than with Taltz alone.
  • By Week 36, combined treatment affected 482 proteins and 467 genes, versus 140 proteins and 16 genes with Taltz alone.
  • Previously reported results showed stronger skin clearance and clinically meaningful weight reduction with the combination through Week 52.

Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE:LLY) reported exploratory Phase 3b results from the TOGETHER-PsO study comparing Taltz plus Zepbound with Taltz alone in adults with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis and excess weight.

Broader changes in measurable biological markers appeared with combined treatment as early as Week 12, according to the company’s analysis.

By Week 36, the combination was associated with changes in 482 proteins and 467 genes, compared with 140 proteins and 16 genes among patients receiving Taltz alone.

Lilly also reported greater reductions in inflammatory immune activity with the combination, although the biomarker findings were exploratory rather than primary clinical endpoints.

Previously reported results showed greater skin clearance and clinically meaningful weight reduction with Taltz plus Zepbound versus Taltz alone at Week 36, with improvements maintained or further increased through Week 52.

The randomized TOGETHER-PsO study enrolled 274 adults with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis and obesity or overweight with at least one additional weight-related condition.

Lilly said the safety findings were consistent with the known profiles of Taltz and Zepbound, with no new safety signals identified in the reported analysis.
