Eli Lilly presents obesity trial data
- Eli Lilly will present new clinical data on retatrutide, Foundayo, and eloraTZP at EASD 2026.
- Phase 3 retatrutide results showed average weight reductions of up to 49.6 pounds in adults with obesity or overweight and type 2 diabetes.

Eli Lilly (NYSE:LLY) will present new clinical trial data on retatrutide, Foundayo (orforglipron), and eloraTZP at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes 2026 meeting in Milan from September 28 to October 2.
The company said Phase 3 TRIUMPH-2 results for investigational retatrutide showed adults with obesity or overweight and type 2 diabetes achieved average weight reductions of up to 49.6 pounds (22.5 kg) and A1C reductions of up to 1.6% at 80 weeks.
Phase 3 ACHIEVE-4 data for Foundayo in type 2 diabetes showed non-inferiority compared with insulin glargine, with reported hazard ratios of 0.84 for MACE-4 and 0.77 for MACE-3 among adults at increased cardiovascular risk.
Eli Lilly said it will also present Phase 2 data for the eloraTZP combination and additional oral and poster presentations covering Foundayo, Zepbound, and Mounjaro.
