
Core & Main posts $2.15 billion sales in second-quarter results

Core & Main (NYSE:CNM) reported fiscal second quarter 2026 net sales of $2.15 billion, increasing 2.5% year over year as the infrastructure distributor reported higher earnings.
Gross profit increased 2.3% to $573 million, with gross margin reaching 26.7%, while the company reported adjusted EBITDA of $274 million.
Net income increased 6.4% to $150 million, diluted earnings per share rose 10% to $0.77, and adjusted diluted EPS increased 8% to $0.94.
During the quarter, Core & Main deployed $169 million to repurchase 3.7 million shares, bringing year-to-date open market repurchases to nearly $270 million and 5.7 million shares.
Core & Main distributes infrastructure products, including water, wastewater, storm drainage, and fire protection materials, through a nationwide network serving contractors and municipalities.
