Construction Partners (NASDAQ:ROAD) expanded its regional operating footprint by closing the acquisition of asphalt and construction assets from Tye, Texas-based J.H. Strain & Sons.

The newly acquired operations integrate directly into Lone Star Paving, serving public and private customers throughout the greater Abilene area.

Management highlighted Abilene as a growing market supported by ongoing investments, including multiple data center-related developments.

The integration welcomes more than 125 experienced employees into the Lone Star Paving organization.

Leadership plans to leverage the newly added team and equipment to pursue continued regional growth in West Texas.
