CoinShares (NASDAQ:CSHR) completed its acquisition of Bastion Asset Management, which will operate as CoinShares Alternatives within the company’s investment platform.

The transaction combines Bastion’s systematic investment capabilities and institutional client base with CoinShares’ investment, trading, and operational infrastructure for digital asset products.

Following completion of the transaction, Philip Scott will serve as Head of Alternatives and Fred Desobry will serve as Head of Systematic Investment Strategies at CoinShares, while Bastion’s operations continue under its existing leadership structure.

CoinShares stated that the acquisition expands its platform to support passive and actively managed digital asset strategies across listed products, funds, and managed accounts.

CoinShares provides digital asset investment products and services, including exchange-traded products, funds, and institutional investment solutions.

The company stated that CoinShares Alternatives will integrate Bastion’s systematic investment expertise with its existing platform as it expands its institutional digital asset offerings.
