CMB.TECH (NYSE:CMBT) sold the Suezmax tanker Bristol and expects the transaction to generate a capital gain of approximately $56.9 million in Q4 2026.

The 2024-built Bristol has a capacity of 156,851 dwt and follows the company’s June sale of two comparable Suezmax tankers.

CMB.TECH said Bristol will be delivered to its new owner in Q4 2026, when the company expects to recognize the estimated gain.

The estimated $56.9 million gain is based on the vessel’s net sale price and book value, while CMB.TECH will report Q2 2026 results on August 27.

CMB.TECH also sold the 2016-built VLCC Donoussa in August, with the company expecting a $74.4 million capital gain when delivery occurs in Q4 2026.

In June, CMB.TECH sold the Suezmaxes Brest and Brugge for an expected $100.5 million gain and separately agreed with Fortescue on charters covering up to 12 ammonia-capable bulkers.
