Clearmind Medicine (NASDAQ:CMND) enrolled the first two patients with Alcohol Use Disorder in its ongoing clinical trial of CMND-100, a non-hallucinogenic psychedelic-derived drug candidate.

The patients were enrolled at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem, Israel, marking the first administration of CMND-100 to individuals with Alcohol Use Disorder.

The trial is designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy of CMND-100 in patients with Alcohol Use Disorder, following previous evaluations of multiple doses in healthy participants.

CMND-100 is being developed as a potential treatment option for Alcohol Use Disorder using a proprietary non-hallucinogenic psychedelic-derived compound.

Clearmind said patient enrollment is progressing as the company works toward additional clinical milestones in its development program.
