ChipMOS July revenue soars 43.6%

ChipMOS Technologies (NASDAQ:IMOS) reported unaudited July 2026 revenue of NT$2.823 billion (US$87.5 million), up 43.6% year over year and 11.2% sequentially.

Revenue increased from NT$2.538 billion in June, which had already risen 37.2% year over year and helped Q2 revenue reach NT$7.383 billion.

The company attributed its revenue momentum to a persistent AI-related demand and supply imbalance as customers continue planning near- and longer-term semiconductor requirements.

ChipMOS said it is expanding its manufacturing footprint in a disciplined manner, with new capacity being deployed to support customer forecasts and longer-term supply commitments.

Following the announcement, ChipMOS Technologies' share price was up 0.44% at $52.54 in the latest available quote.

ChipMOS provides outsourced semiconductor assembly and test services, with its recent growth occurring alongside increased demand for packaging and testing capacity linked to AI applications.

The July record extends a run that included ChipMOS posting its highest monthly and quarterly revenue since 2014 in June and Q2 2026.
