  • Centrus Energy acquired Westerman Holdings for approximately US$116 million, bringing centrifuge-component manufacturing capabilities under its direct ownership.
  • The transaction was funded with approximately $95 million in existing cash and $21 million in equity.
  • Centrus expects the acquisition to increase adjusted earnings per share in the first year after closing and support its multibillion-dollar uranium enrichment expansion.

Centrus Energy (NYSE:LEU) acquired Westerman Holdings for approximately $116 million, bringing manufacturing of centrifuge components into its operations.

The transaction expands Centrus' existing relationship with Westerman, which manufactures centrifuge casings and other components used in the company's uranium enrichment activities.

Centrus funded the acquisition with approximately $95 million in cash on hand and $21 million in equity, acquiring all Westerman business lines.

Westerman will retain its name as a Centrus subsidiary, with Jacob Garrett becoming its president and a Centrus vice president.

Centrus expects the acquisition to increase adjusted earnings per share during the first year after closing and reduce project costs through supply-chain integration.

Westerman's existing non-nuclear customers, including oil and gas businesses, provide additional revenue sources beyond Centrus' uranium enrichment operations.

Centrus previously announced a multibillion-dollar uranium enrichment expansion and signed a September 2026 HALEU supply agreement with Antares to support domestic nuclear fuel production.
