
Bio-Techne sees Q4 sales reach $321.2 million
- Bio-Techne reported fourth-quarter FY2026 net sales of $321.2 million, up 1% reported and 3% organically year-over-year.
- GAAP EPS improved to $0.35 from a loss of $0.11, while adjusted EPS was $0.52 compared with $0.53 a year earlier.
- Bio-Techne is moving forward with its planned $11.3 billion acquisition by Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, for $73 per share in cash.
Bio-Techne (NASDAQ:TECH) reported fourth-quarter FY2026 net sales of $321.2 million, up 1% year-over-year on a reported basis and 3% organically, while GAAP EPS improved to $0.35.
The result followed a flat full-year performance, with FY2026 revenue remaining at about $1.2 billion compared with the prior year, while adjusted EPS increased slightly to $1.93 from $1.92.
Protein Sciences revenue increased 2% in the quarter, while Diagnostics and Spatial Biology organic revenue grew 8% and its operating margin improved to 11.2%.
Adjusted operating income reached $386.1 million for the full year.
Following the announcement, the Bio-Techne share price was unchanged at $72.29 as investors continued to assess the pending acquisition agreement with Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany.
Bio-Techne also reported FY2026 GAAP operating margin of 20.7% and GAAP EPS of $1.16, compared with $0.46 in the previous year, while the company said it will no longer hold quarterly investor calls due to the pending transaction.
Bio-Techne develops life science tools, analytical technologies and consumables used in research, bioprocessing and diagnostics, and agreed in June 2026 to be acquired by Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, for $73 per share in cash with an enterprise value of about $11.3 billion.
