Polish prosecutors estimate customer losses above 350 million zlotys, or about $96 million.

Before the shutdown, Kral said the exchange controlled more than 4,500 Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC), but this claim remains unverified.

The exchange’s website went offline on 23 April after customers reported frozen balances and delayed withdrawals.

On-chain analysis found visible exchange-held Bitcoin fell from about 55.7 BTC to 0.18 BTC.

The analysis covered identified wallets and did not prove Zondacrypto’s total reserves or customer shortfall.

Suszek has been missing since March 2022, while authorities have not confirmed that Kral is missing or facing criminal charges.

At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $77,288.53.
