XRP (CRYPTO:XRP) is attracting increased leveraged trading activity, with Binance's estimated leverage ratio rising to approximately 0.1899, its highest level of 2026.
The increase follows XRP's recovery toward US$1.24 before the token retreated back toward the US$1.20 level.
CryptoQuant data showed the leverage ratio breaking above its recent range of 0.15 to 0.18, indicating that traders are increasing exposure through borrowed positions.
On-chain data presented a mixed picture, with social media discussion around XRP increasing sharply in late May and early June while active addresses remained near 28,300.
The growing use of leverage highlights rising speculative activity around XRP, and following the latest market moves the token was trading near US$1.20.
Technical analysis showed XRP has been rejected multiple times at a descending trendline and recently broke below a symmetrical triangle formation.
The triangle breakdown projects a longer-term technical target near US$0.73, while market participants continue to monitor support around US$1.17 for signs of further weakness or stabilisation.
At the time of reporting, XRP price was $1.19.
