  • Batch V1.1 has 27 of 35 validator votes, putting it one vote short of the 80% threshold.
  • The upgrade can bundle up to eight linked transactions into one atomic operation.
  • RippleX rebuilt the feature after a critical flaw was found before the original version reached mainnet.

The XRP Ledger is one validator vote away from starting the activation process for its Batch V1.1 upgrade.

Batch V1.1 has support from 27 of 35 trusted validators, or about 77%, against the 80% threshold required by the network.

“The Batch V1.1 amendment shipped in xrpld 3.3.0 and is now up for voting,” RippleX developer Mayukha Vadari said.

The upgrade can combine up to eight linked transactions into one operation, allowing related transfers to succeed or fail together.

RippleX rebuilt the feature after researchers found a critical signature-validation flaw in the original Batch version before it reached mainnet.

The revised version underwent reviews by four senior engineers, a Sherlock security contest, Halborn and Common Prefix audits, plus automated testing.

If support remains above 80% for 14 consecutive days, Batch V1.1 can activate on the XRP Ledger, although validators can change their votes during the process.
