Flare campaign gives XRP holders new yield option

Share

D’CENT has launched a new Flare-based campaign designed to help XRP holders generate yield from idle tokens while maintaining hardware-wallet security.

The initiative allows users to deposit XRP into the Monarq XRP Yield Vault through the D’CENT wallet application without purchasing separate gas tokens such as FLR.

The rollout follows the launch of the XRP Alliance, introduced earlier this month by IoTrust, the company behind the D’CENT wallet, alongside partners including Flare, Squid Router, Doppler and Banxa.

D’CENT said the campaign aims to solve what it described as a major issue for XRP holders whose assets remain inactive inside storage wallets without broader decentralised finance utility.

“This campaign is made to solve the biggest problem for the global XRP Army: having their XRP tokens just sitting in wallets as idle assets,”

The announcement stated.

The campaign runs from May 19 through June 8 and includes a $40,000 reward pool distributed in XRP and FLR tokens while waiving additional platform fees beyond standard Flare network costs.

The integration also allows users to interact with Flare services directly through the D’CENT wallet interface while keeping custody of assets inside a cold-wallet environment rather than transferring funds to centralised platforms.

IoTrust said the company serves roughly one million users across 220 countries and described the Flare campaign as the first major initiative tied to the newly established XRP Alliance ecosystem.

At the time of reporting, XRP price was $1.38.
