X has launched Custom Timelines, allowing Premium iOS users to pin topic-specific feeds to their home tab using Grok-powered personalisation.
The feature supports more than 75 topics and uses Grok alongside X’s recommendation algorithm to curate posts around specific interests such as finance, crypto or sports.

Custom Timelines replace reliance on the “For You” tab by creating focused, algorithm-driven feeds, offering users more control and reducing noise from unrelated content.
The rollout also includes a tool to snooze topics on the main feed, giving users further control over content exposure.
The launch builds on X’s Smart Cashtags feature, which integrates live price data for stocks and crypto and has already driven significant trading activity on the platform.
The move aligns with Elon Musk’s strategy to transform X into an “everything app,” with Android support expected soon and broader rollout timelines yet to be confirmed.
