World Liberty Financial launched USD1 natively on Canton Network with a market value of about $4.05 billion.
Native issuance lets institutions settle USD1 and tokenised assets within the same transaction on Canton.
World Liberty said institutions can use USD1 for collateral, lending, asset issuance and cross-border payments.
Canton uses privacy and permission controls designed for transactions involving regulated financial institutions.
World Liberty said USD1 is redeemable for US dollars at a one-to-one rate and backed by reserves.
The launch follows plans first announced in December 2025, when USD1 had a market value above $2 billion.
The proposed World Liberty Trust bank received conditional OCC approval on August 14 but still needs final authorisation.
