UAE selects Avalanche for 12.5M-user digital identity

The UAE has selected Avalanche (CRYPTO:AVAX) to upgrade its UAEPASS Digital Vault for 12.5 million users.
The dedicated network will keep UAE traffic separate from activity on the wider blockchain.
TDRA will oversee the Digital Vault and manage access for organisations using the system.
The upgrade is designed to provide more predictable network performance as usage grows.
UAEPASS is the UAE's national digital identity platform and supports identity checks, digital signatures and online services.
The move has added to Avalanche's government deployments, including a California project covering 42 million vehicle titles.
At the time of reporting, Avalanche price was $7.64.
