  • Tether (USDT) on TRON (TRX) secured the top spot as the most-used onchain payment option on CoinsBee, outpacing major legacy networks.
  • Transaction metrics show TRC-20 USDT recorded approximately 1.8 times as many completed payments as Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) over a recent 90-day window.
  • Total payment share surged to 16.23% across the platform, marking a 64% increase compared to annual averages from the previous year.

Tether (USDT) on TRON (TRX) have captured 16.23% of all platform payments during 2026, accelerating past historical digital asset settlement baselines.

The platform shift underscores a broader retail transition toward practical stablecoin utility for everyday digital commerce and gift card purchases.

“USDT on TRON is already the most used onchain payment option on CoinsBee, and its share of payments has grown considerably over the past year,” CoinsBee Product and Growth Lead Iván Escamilla Rodriguez said in a statement.

Platform data reveals that users leveraged the network heavily to purchase retail, gaming, and mobile services across more than 180 countries.

“TRON provides infrastructure for USDT transactions at global scale, and the collaboration with CoinsBee gives users another way to use USDT for everyday purchases,” TRON DAO spokesperson Sam Elfarra said in a statement.

Protocol transaction metrics indicate that TRC-20 transfers accounted for nearly half of total stablecoin payment counts and over 64% of total turnover value.

Commercial activity spanned high-demand consumer brands including Amazon, Walmart, Uber, and Apple as digital asset holders increasingly bypassed traditional banking rails.

Following the update, TRX was trading up at $0.3475.
