Telegram has started rolling out its self-custodial Gram Wallet to selected users across its messaging platform.

Gram (CRYPTO:GRAM) gained about 2% over 24 hours, while trading volume rose about 137% after the announcement.

“We’ll be gradually rolling it out to our billion+ users over the next couple of weeks,” Telegram CEO Pavel Durov said.

The wallet will support self-custody, fee-free transfers, payments, purchases and Telegram Collectibles.

Gram reached about $1.46 before falling back towards $1.40, with resistance near $1.45.

Telegram reported more than 1 billion monthly active users in 2025, but has not disclosed an adoption target.

The wallet launch follows Gram's June rebrand from Toncoin after a community vote received 81.22% support.

At the time of reporting, Gram price was $1.38.
