
Strive buys 1,800 Bitcoin for US$143M

Strive, Inc. bought 1,800 Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) for about US$143 million, lifting its holdings to 23,156 BTC.
The company paid an average US$79,431 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses, between August 24 and August 28.
The purchase increased Strive’s Bitcoin holdings by about 8.4% from 21,356 BTC a week earlier, according to an adviser cited by Cointelegraph.
Strive’s latest purchase followed its acquisition of another 1,110 Bitcoin for about US$81.5 million the previous week.
Following the announcement, Strive shares closed at US$24.22, up 11.41% on August 31, according to historical market data.
The latest purchase moved Strive ahead of Bullish and into fifth place among publicly traded companies by Bitcoin holdings, according to industry data.
Strategy, the largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder, also resumed buying Bitcoin during the same period, purchasing 4,603 BTC for about US$370 million.
