Strategy signals Bitcoin buying after 10-week pause

Strategy signalled a possible return to Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) buying after pausing purchases for about 10 weeks.

Michael Saylor posted “We’re Back” on X, which has previously preceded Strategy’s Bitcoin purchase announcements.

“We’re ₿ack,” Saylor posted alongside a chart showing Strategy’s Bitcoin holdings.

Strategy used the pause to strengthen its balance sheet, including building a US$5.1 billion reserve and a US$1.59 billion cash pool.

The company holds 840,447 Bitcoin at an average cost of about US$75,385 per coin, according to the report.

Strategy’s latest Nasdaq close was US$127.31 on August 28, down 7.34% from the previous session.

The company had paused regular purchases while focusing on liquidity and preferred stock funding before Saylor’s latest signal.

At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $77,881.29.
