  • Stand With Crypto will add senators’ Clarity Act votes to its public scorecards.
  • The Coinbase-backed group will continue mobilising its three million advocates for crypto legislation.
  • The move follows the Senate’s failure to advance the crypto market structure bill.

Stand With Crypto will add senators’ Clarity Act votes to its public scorecards ahead of November’s midterm elections.

The Coinbase-backed group has said its three million advocates will continue pushing for federal crypto legislation.

“Today’s vote was a failure of leadership,” said Stand With Crypto Executive Director Mason Lynaugh.

The Senate has failed to advance the bill after the procedural vote fell short of the 60 votes required.

Stand With Crypto supporters made nearly 50,000 calls and emails to Congress during August.

The group has also endorsed congressional candidates and will use lawmakers’ voting records in its public scorecards.

The Clarity Act would establish federal rules for digital assets and divide oversight between the SEC and CFTC if enacted.
