  • StablecoinX has agreed to remove restrictions on its ENA holdings from October 5.
  • The company holds about 3 billion ENA, equal to roughly 20% of total supply.
  • Ethena Foundation approval and sale notice rules will still apply.

StablecoinX has agreed to permanently remove the lock-up on its ENA holdings from October 5, 2026.

The change will end the existing 48-month lock-up, vesting and scheduled release restrictions.

The agreement has stated that the parties will “waive, release and terminate” the restrictions covering the affected ENA tokens.

StablecoinX held about 3 billion ENA at the end of June, representing roughly 20% of total supply.

The removal has not given StablecoinX unrestricted permission to sell ENA, as certain transactions still require Ethena Foundation consent.

StablecoinX must also provide at least five business days' notice before an approved funding sale.

The company has been allowed to use qualifying ENA sales for working capital, investments, acquisitions and other approved corporate purposes.
