  • Ripple (CRYPTO:XRP) will combine its Swell and XRPL Apex conferences in New York, with more than 1,500 attendees expected.
  • The event highlights Ripple’s focus on institutional blockchain adoption, XRP Ledger development, and enterprise digital asset use cases.
  • Executives said the conference will focus on payments, tokenisation, decentralised finance, artificial intelligence, and interoperability.

Ripple (CRYPTO:XRP) said its Swell 2026 conference will be held in New York from Oct. 27-29 and is expected to attract more than 1,500 attendees as the company increases its focus on institutional blockchain adoption.

The event marks the first time Swell and XRPL Apex will be combined, with organisers expecting more than 75 speakers, 50 sessions, and programming across three stages for finance, blockchain, and digital asset participants.

“I’ve been in crypto long enough to know when a moment is real,” said Ripple Chief Executive Officer Brad Garlinghouse.

Ripple said the conference will bring together financial institutions, fintech firms, developers, researchers, investors, and XRP Ledger community members, while executives highlighted payments, tokenisation, decentralised finance, artificial intelligence, interoperability, and network development as key themes.

The company stated that the gathering reflects growing enterprise interest in blockchain-based financial infrastructure and digital asset applications, and following the announcement the Ripple-linked XRP token price was unchanged at approximately US$2.16.

Ripple has also promoted enterprise use cases for XRP and its RLUSD stablecoin, including treasury management functions, while Garlinghouse has previously cited the XRP Ledger’s more than four billion completed transactions, transaction speed, and low costs as indicators of network activity.

Recent Ripple initiatives have included expanding RLUSD adoption, increasing institutional payment partnerships, advancing XRP Ledger development, and broadening tokenisation and interoperability efforts across its blockchain ecosystem.

At the time of reporting, XRP price was $1.15.
