Ripple has signed a multi-year partnership with Florida Athletics that will bring XRP branding to the University of Florida during the 2026 football season.
XRP (CRYPTO:XRP) will appear on the field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, as well as Florida Athletics’ digital platforms and event signage.
“Florida has a long history of embracing innovation and technology to enhance the experience of our fans and advance our programs,” said Scott Stricklin, University of Florida Director of Athletics.
The partnership will also support financial and technology education covering traditional finance and digital assets, according to Florida Athletics.
The deal’s financial terms were not disclosed by the university or Ripple, although multiple reports put its value at about US$5 million annually.
The agreement expands Ripple’s college sports strategy after the company became a sponsor of Kansas Jayhawks sports earlier this summer.
The Florida partnership comes as universities seek new commercial revenue sources, with NCAA rules allowing corporate branding on college fields since 2024.
At the time of reporting, XRP price was $1.39.
