The move follows more than 1 million Pudgy Party downloads and comes as NFT market capitalisation rose to nearly US$1.5 billion.
The project said focusing on Pudgy World offers greater scalability and user onboarding opportunities.

Pudgy Penguins announced it will wind down development of its mobile game Pudgy Party and redirect gaming resources toward Pudgy World, its browser-based gaming platform.

The decision comes less than a year after Pudgy Party launched in August 2025 and surpassed 1 million downloads across mobile platforms, including more than 500,000 downloads on Google Play.

“We’ve made the difficult decision to wind down Pudgy Party and halt further development,” said Pudgy Penguins.

The project said Pudgy World offers greater scalability and a stronger opportunity to introduce new users to the Pudgy Penguins ecosystem as it expands into gaming, licensing, toys and entertainment.
