Pando launches Hong Kong spot Solana ETF

Share
  • Pando Asset Management is preparing to launch a spot Solana exchange-traded fund in Hong Kong on 13 October 2026.
  • The fund offers investors exposure to Solana through a regulated exchange-traded product rather than direct token ownership.
  • The launch adds another listed investment product tracking Solana in Hong Kong’s digital asset market.

Pando Asset Management’s Solana (SOL) ETF is scheduled to begin trading in Hong Kong on 13 October 2026.

The fund trades under stock code 2831.HK and directly holds Solana rather than tracking crypto-related company shares.

Pando’s product documentation describes the fund as a passive exchange-traded product designed to provide exposure to Solana’s market value.

The ETF aims to track the CME CF Solana-Dollar Reference Rate — Asia Pacific Variant before fees and expenses.

Investors can trade fund shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange without directly holding SOL tokens in personal wallets.

The fund carries Solana’s price risk, including volatility, regulatory uncertainty, custody risks and potential losses from network disruptions.

Trading in Hong Kong dollars also exposes investors to currency fluctuations, while ETF shares may trade above or below their underlying asset value.

Following the update, SOL was trading up 2.4%  at $112.04.
