GloBra’s patent covering the Chain Code Technology and Parallel Token Solution used in GLBrain and GLMall has finally been approved by both the European and United States patent offices.

The grants are registered under European Patent EP 3 857 405 B1 and US Patent 12,430,644.

What the patent covers

At its foundation, the patent describes a database system in which users store data while retaining complete ownership of it, with the ability to change that data whenever they choose. Users also control visibility, deciding whether data is seen by specific individuals or by people in particular regions.

The technical mechanism behind this is chain code technology. Data blocks are attached to data chains pulled by the user with access to that data. Those blocks can also be disconnected from both owner and user, producing an unchangeable system of data attached to the chain.

The record then becomes an internal NFT, accessible to the parties involved. It can be transferred onto an external blockchain into a wallet, where it can be further traded.

The parallel token solution

The patent also covers crypto payments conducted on GloBra’s proprietary blockchain without any blockchain-related transaction cost. Transactions are executed on these blockchains, with the cryptocurrency used functioning as a transaction currency.

This is called a parallel token solution because that transaction currency can be swapped in and out with other cryptocurrencies.

Smart agreements

Together, chain code technology and the parallel token solution enable the creation of what GloBra calls smart agreements between users. These can be used to share commissions with agents, influencers and all other parties involved in a deal.

Applications described in the patent

The patent describes its application possibilities as very extensive. The system allows total data security and data control by the user. Where the users involved wish it, the system can also create an unalterable receipt, or confirmation of a certification, within the server system of the inventive social network via the internal receipt ledger.

If desired, data recorded there can be transferred to a blockchain. There it is stored and confirmed permanently outside the social network’s server system, while remaining visible only to authorised users.

The patent notes that combining blockchain use for cryptocurrencies with the social network’s comprehensive processing interface enables countless further applications. It also says the ability to create additional data chains for selected users via existing data chains opens up possibilities not yet foreseeable, particularly for very complex communities carrying out very complex tasks.
