Cosmos launches 17-company bank tokenisation network
- Cosmos has launched a 17-company partner network to help banks move tokenisation projects into production.
- Wells Fargo has planned an initial cross-border tokenised-deposit rollout for autumn 2026.
- The network includes BitGo, Blockchain.com, Blockdaemon, Galaxy Digital and OpenZeppelin.
Cosmos has launched a 17-company partner network designed to help banks move tokenised-deposit projects beyond pilot programmes and into production.
The network has brought together infrastructure providers, custodians, financial institutions and blockchain firms as institutional demand for tokenised assets has grown.
“The Cosmos Tokenization Suite partner network is a qualified ecosystem, not a pre-wired integration marketplace,” Cosmos Chief Commercial Officer Eran Barak said.
Wells Fargo has planned its first cross-border implementation using tokenised deposits for autumn 2026, marking an early production test for the network.
The wider partner group includes BitGo, Blockchain.com, Blockdaemon, Galaxy Digital and OpenZeppelin, alongside other infrastructure and financial-services firms.
Cosmos has positioned the network around its Tokenization Suite, which is designed to support banks and financial institutions building blockchain-based financial products.
The expansion has come as banks have increasingly explored tokenised deposits and other blockchain-based assets, although broader institutional adoption remains dependent on regulatory and operational readiness.
