Arthur Hayes bought 1.9 million Ether.fi (CRYPTO:ETHFI) tokens worth about $1.17 million, according to Lookonchain.

The purchase marks another move into ETHFI after Hayes sold 265,461 tokens four months ago.

The earlier sale took place at about $0.44 per token and was worth roughly $118,000.

ETHFI was trading at about $0.62 when the latest purchase was reported.

ETHFI is the governance token of Ether.fi, a decentralised finance protocol focused on liquid staking.

The token allows holders to vote on proposals affecting the Ether.fi protocol.

Hayes’ latest purchase shows renewed activity in ETHFI, but it does not confirm his reasons for buying the token.
