  • Yandal Resources launched a 3,300m diamond drilling programme at its Arrakis gold prospect.
  • The company's shares traded unchanged at $0.105 following the drilling announcement.
  • The drilling aims to test the scale of high-grade gold mineralisation at depth.

Yandal Resources (ASX:YRL) has commenced a seven-hole, 3,300-metre diamond drilling programme to test high-grade gold mineralisation at depth at its Arrakis prospect.

The programme follows recent reverse circulation drilling at the parallel Anders anomaly that returned significant gold intercepts, including 6 metres at 2.5 grammes per tonne of gold.

The company stated that three of the seven planned diamond drilling holes at Arrakis have already been completed, with full programme completion expected by early November.

Additional results from the Flushing Meadows prospect yielded intercepts including 4.3m at 0.7 grammes per tonne of gold and 13m at 0.5 grammes per tonne of gold.

Following the announcement, the Yandal Resources share price was unchanged at $0.097.

The exploration campaign forms part of the company's efforts to expand its mineral resource footprint across the Yandal Greenstone Belt in Western Australia.

Yandal Resources continues to advance multiple prospective targets across its regional portfolio while awaiting final assay results from completed diamond drill holes.
