Tali Resources (ASX:TR2) has announced a planned 9,000-metre aircore drilling programme across key prospects scheduled to commence in October.
The new exploration effort marks the first time seven high-priority targets along the Don Juan-Alakol trend will undergo testing.
The company reported that historical drilling previously intersected aillikite, a rock type commonly located proximal to carbonatites.
Tali’s Managing Director, Rhys Bradley, commented, “Our review of the Don Juan-Alakol trend has reinforced the scale and prospectivity of this 45 km-long alkaline intrusive system.”
A further 3,500 metres of drilling will focus on five prospects situated along the Central Australian Suture.
The entire campaign targets carbonatite systems within a 45-kilometre-long alkaline ultramafic intrusive complex.
Following the announcement, the Tali Resources share price was unchanged at $0.30.
The critical minerals explorer continues to expand its exploration footprint across Western Australia.
