
Stellar Resources raises 22.1M for Heemskirk Tin Project
Stellar Resources (ASX:SRZ) has secured commitments to raise $22.1 million through a heavily oversubscribed capital placement, marking a milestone for the development of its Heemskirk Tin Project.
The capital raising includes a cornerstone $17 million investment from Metals X (ASX:MLX), alongside an additional $5.1 million sourced from a mix of new and existing institutional and professional investors.
Demand for the additional shares was particularly robust, with total bids exceeding the initial targets.
The placement was conducted at an issue price of $0.033 per share, representing a 2.2% premium to the 30-day volume-weighted average price.
Upon completion of the transaction, Stellar Resources will boast a formidable pro-forma cash position of $33 million.
The capital injection is earmarked to accelerate the Heemskirk Tin Project towards production.
Specific priorities include the finalisation of a prefeasibility study by the third quarter of 2026 and the commencement of a subsequent definitive feasibility study.
Furthermore, the funds will support exploration initiatives at the nearby East Renison and Granite Tor tin projects, while providing general working capital for the company’s operations.
