- The expansion forms part of PainChek's strategy targeting the US assisted living and memory care market, estimated at 1.2 million licence opportunities.
PainChek (ASX:PCK) has expanded its commercial agreement with Sabra Health Care REIT (NASDAQ:SBRA) to cover 23 facilities across five operators.
The expansion builds on the initial rollout of two Traditions memory care sites announced in June.
Karen Holzberger, CEO of PainChek, said, “The Sabra expansion shows how we are turning established relationships into commercial contracts. We have moved from the first two facilities to 23 communities across five operators.”
The update confirms 808 contracted memory care licences to date, out of an initial priority pool of approximately 2,500 licences across Sabra's broader deployment potential of up to 20,000 licences.
The operational team aims to complete staff training and licence activation by Dec. 31 to convert uptake into annual recurring revenue.
Following the announcement, the PainChek share price was up at $0.10.
PainChek stated that the US long-term care sector represents an estimated total addressable market value of $100 million.
The developer leverages existing care integrations and implementation experience established in its home Australian market and the UK to drive US adoption.
