The study is taking place within Australian Clinical Labs' flagship anatomical pathology laboratory located in Western Australia.
ACL Clinical Director Dr Marissa Muller said, "Reaching more than 80 cases in this study marks an important milestone in our collaboration with Optiscan and reflects ACL’s commitment to innovation that has the potential to deliver meaningful benefits for patients, pathologists and laboratory teams.”
The company stated that data gathered from the study will support workflow optimisation, pathologist training, and future regulatory submissions.
Following the announcement, the Optiscan Imaging share price was unchanged at $0.16.
The trial leverages Australian Clinical Labs' extensive pathology network to validate real-time imaging technology.
Optiscan continues to focus on developing slide-free microscopic imaging tools for medical applications.
